GETTING INVOLVED
Grays Harbor Stream Team
Do you know of a stream or river in Grays Harbor that needs
improvement? The Grays Harbor Stream Team wants to hear your ideas
about what stream we should focus our efforts on first. The Grays
Harbor Stream Team is meeting monthly, the third Wednesday of each
month from 6-8 pm at Grays Harbor College. We will meet in the
Choker Dining Room, located inside the Student Union
Building. We are looking for volunteers to help us get this effort
started. A stream team is a coalition of local citizens,
organizations, and agencies who have a common interest in improving
and maintaining healthy streams for people and for fish and
wildlife. For more information please contact Janel Spaulding (360)
538-4212 or email jspauldi@ghc.edu.

Volunteer Opportunities
There are a variety of options for
getting involved in watershed management in the Chehalis Basin. You
don't have to be an expert or have any special skills. All you need
is a desire to help protect, maintain, or restore our natural
resources in the Chehalis Basin. We coordinate tree plantings,
stream clean-ups, and other hands-on activities that you can do
throughout the year to make a difference in your watershed.
Please see our calendar for upcoming events or contact Janel
Spaulding (360) 538-4212 or email
jspauldi@ghc.edu. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming
volunteer event!
